Construction of a least cost path spanning tree networks. Service Provided (Country): China

A project was carried out to determine the most relevant and up to- date algorithm to construct a hypothetical least cost path network of highways that connects a set of selected target cities in China. In addition, find the most accurate data (elevation, land cover etc.) to implement the algorithm. The algorithm was then converted into a Python GIS script to implement the algorithm so it can replicate the results for the different locations and result in a shapefile.
